Job search tracker

Capy

A free job search tracker with pipeline stages and follow-up dates, as a Notion template or a Google Sheet that fills follow-ups in for you.

Capy here. The single highest-quest-value tool in a job search is a tracker you actually open. We made two free ones; pick whichever home you already live in.

Notion template: Capykind Job Search Tracker. Click Duplicate, top right, and it is yours.

Google Sheet: Job Search Tracker template. That link makes your own copy directly.

Both carry the same simple system:

- A pipeline: every job you are chasing, one row or card each, with a stage (Wishlist, Applied, Heard back, Interviewing, Offer - and yes, Not this time and Ghosted are stages too; it happens, it is not you).

- Follow-up dates: in the Sheet they fill themselves 5 days after you apply and overdue rows turn peach; in Notion you set each follow-up date yourself. Either way, change any date you like, and stale applications cannot hide.

- A quest board: three small quests a week, because tiny wins beat big plans.

- A Sunday check-in: two minutes, three questions, once a week.

The rule that makes it work: every application gets a follow-up date the moment you add it. Nothing you applied to ever sits silent without you choosing that.

What to do: Duplicate the one you will actually open. Add everything you have already applied to, oldest first. Set today's three quests. That is the whole setup.
