Weekly quest planner

The Capy streak sheet: plan three small job-search quests a day, anchor them, and let the streak carry the week.

Capy here. This is the sheet version of my post, Why small daily quests beat marathon application sessions. One page, one week, three quests a day. Plan-making research with real job seekers found that a small written plan lifted applications submitted by 15 percent without more time spent (Abel, Burger, Carranza and Piraino, 2019), so we keep the plan very small.

Sunday setup (two minutes)

- This week's anchor (the daily moment quests happen - after coffee, before lunch): ______

- This week's rest day (chosen in advance, guilt-free): ______

- One thing I am carrying over from last week: ______

Each day

Quest 1: ______
Quest 2: ______
Quest 3: ______
Done? ______

Write three quests small enough to finish tired: one application to a role you actually want, one follow-up or message, one resume or story improvement. Tick them at the anchor moment. Then stop - done counts, not perfect.

Sunday check-in (two minutes)

- What went well this week?

- What is one thing to try next week?

- Energy, 1 to 5: __ (if it is 2 or lower twice in a row, next week's quests get smaller, not bigger)

Streak rules

- [ ] A missed day is data, not failure. Restart at the next anchor; the streak counts weeks, not perfection.

- [ ] Rest day is part of the streak, not a break in it.

- [ ] Never trade tomorrow's quests to finish today's.

What to do: Copy this into a note or print it. Fill the Sunday setup now. Tomorrow, three quests at the anchor, then stop.
